? Introducing the Soaring Child YouTube Video Series ?
As a caregiver of a child with ADHD, it’s easy to get sucked into negativity when our child doesn’t fit the mold.
I’ve been there for sure.
When my son’s ADHD symptoms were at their worst, I actually got to the point where I dreaded getting out of bed in the morning.
I felt like I had no options….that I was destined to a life that was less than I always imagined.
Have you been there?
If you can relate to these feelings, then I want to invite you to join me (via YouTube) on the first Saturday of each month, starting THIS WEEKEND, Saturday, August 6th…
Where I will be sharing stories of hope, as well as tips from caregivers JUST LIKE YOU who have figured out how to support their children with ADHD naturally.
Every child deserves to soar.
The Soaring Child is a series of videos we are going to share that are from families, experts, and caregivers who have figured out how to make that happen.
(And in case you’re wondering, yes, the Soaring Child IS the same name as my podcast, but these videos are NOT the same thing. These are brand new!)
If you want to learn more about the Soaring Child videos that are coming to you via YouTube every first Saturday of the month, go check out my founder’s story here.
These videos feature the soaring children, the children whose caregivers have used the ADHD Thrive Method and learned how to effectively support their children with ADHD using natural strategies.
We want to share their stories of hope with you.
Because they are PROOF that you can have a different life. That ADHD does not have to sentence your family to a life of misery.
Join us – every 1st Saturday of the month as we share a NEW story of another soaring child.
Come hear the strategies these families have implemented that have helped their children thrive!
I have added the first story – MY STORY – TODAY, so go check that out to learn more about the Soaring Child.
Some experts estimate that kids with ADHD receive approximately 20,000 more negative messages than their neurotypical peers by the time they reach about age 10-12.
It’s sad, isn’t it?
And it explains why our resident Child and Family Therapist, Ashley Gobeil, says that many of them end up feeling a sense of shame about themselves.
Because they are told, either directly or indirectly – over and over again each day – about things they need to change…about ways they need to do better and be better.
Our kids need encouragement. They need us as their caregivers to fill them with positive messages about themselves.
But in order for us to be able to do this, WE need to feel HOPE ourselves.
WE need to have a positive outlook.
The Soaring Child video series will provide that hope for us. It will remind us that it IS possible to have a child with ADHD who soars!
