What is something you know NOW that you wish you would have known when your child was first diagnosed with ADHD?
I saw this article recently in ADDitude magazine and found it really fascinating, so I wanted to pass it along.
The title is 10 Things I Wish I Had Known. Check it out here.
#1 in that list really spoke to me.
Because like many parents of kids with ADHD, I spent way TOO many years trusting other people and ignoring what my gut told me was the right thing to do for my son.
I think one of our moms, Renee, would probably say the same thing. She spent years listening to doctors, prescribing one medication or supplement after another, and never getting to the source of her son’s inflammation.
Her gut told her they were missing something, but it took her a long time to really listen to it.
When she finally did, she was SO glad!!
