For parents of children with ADHD, meltdowns can be a particularly challenging and frequent occurrence.

These intense episodes are not merely willful behavior or tantrums, but often stem from the child’s difficulty in managing sensory overload, emotional regulation, or stress.

Understanding Meltdowns:
Meltdowns are intense emotional or behavioral outbursts that can be a major challenge for children and their families. They are not to be confused with regular tantrums, although the two can look similar to an onlooker.

The key difference lies in the root cause and the ability to control the outburst. Tantrums usually occur when a child is trying to get something they want or need, and they can be a learned behavior.

Meltdowns, on the other hand, are a reaction to sensory overload or overwhelming situations. During a meltdown, children are less likely to be aware of their environment or to respond to external attempts at calming them down.

The science behind meltdowns often points to an overwhelmed nervous system.

When a child experiences sensory overload or extreme stress, the brain goes into a “fight or flight” mode, which can result in a meltdown. Some children, particularly those with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or sensory processing issues, may experience meltdowns more frequently.

Their brains have a hard time processing and responding to the incoming information, leading to heightened stress and, eventually, a meltdown.

Understanding the science behind these challenging moments can help parents, caregivers, and teachers implement effective strategies to manage and reduce them.

***Meltdown-Free for 2 Weeks!!***
Imagine what your life would be like if you didn’t have to walk on eggshells all the time?

Anna’s son used to have multiple meltdowns each day.

“It was exhausting!” she said.

My guess is, you can probably relate.

It feels like you can’t even relax when you’re at home. You walk on eggshells all the time, just dreading the next meltdown that is sure to come.

Does any of this sound familiar?

Is your child….

✅ Aggressive

✅ Defiant

✅ Irritable

✅ Hyperactive

So was Anna’s.

But that all changed when she began working with our team.

After reducing the inflammation in her son’s gut, body, and brain, within weeks of starting the program, her son was completely meltdown-free.

So tell me, how would your daily life change if you had a meltdown-free child?  You could go to the grocery store without having to worry about what would happen at the checkout line when he doesn’t get that candy bar he wants.  You could eat out without fear of the fit your child would inevitably throw.  You could visit family or friends and not worry about being judged because of your child’s behavior.  When Anna visited her family for the first time after starting the program, her parents said he was like a completely different child! ⇩⇩⇩

That’s what happens when you reduce inflammation in your child’s gut.  You get your child back.    And it’s not just Anna who has seen results like this. We have watched family after family sees the same thing.   And we believe it can happen for you too.
