Improve Your ADHD Child’s Handwriting by Changing Diet

Did you know that handwriting is affected by what we eat? 

 

Say what?! 

For the longest time, I didn’t know about this connection either. But as I learned more and as I spoke with parents who noticed changes in their children after changing their diets, I became a believer too. 

Just look at what one of my clients shared with me. 

This first sample was from October 2019, BEFORE the dietary changes:

 

Now, take a look at this sample from March 2020, only five months later, but AFTER making significant dietary changes. 

The transformation in his handwriting is truly incredible! 

It just goes to show that there are a lot more things affected by what we eat than many of us even realize.

Here are a just a few things that can be affected by the foods we eat: 

  • Emotional regulation
  • Sleep 
  • Immune system
  • Eczema/Skin rashes 
  • Asthma 
  • Allergies
  • Leaky gut
  • Constipation
  • Handwriting

And so much more! The foods we eat really do affect just about everything in our day-to-day lives!
